Surgery for phimosis
Surgery for phimosis is a procedure that is performed both in boys and in men, depending on whether it is a congenital or acquired defect. In both cases, however, it should be done as soon as possible after diagnosis. It involves widening the foreskin orifice or complete resection of the foreskin, i.e. circumcision. After the surgery, the patient must take painkillers and an antibiotic for a certain period of time.
The surgery improves the patient's quality of everyday life, both in terms of normal urination, maintenance of proper hygiene, prevention of infection and sex life.
